Izzy developed his innovative
approach by experimenting with different surface shapes, textures,
materials and colours. He first revolutionized the art of framing by
featuring artwork in large frames with flat surfaces some five
years ago. At first he designed and made many of his frames himself, then
began to outsource manufacturing to fine Italian craftsmen who now produce
an extensive selection of frames according to his custom specifications.
Izzy has a gift for “reading” a painting and capturing its particular mood
or essence. “The little details make all the difference,” he notes. The
right frame adds depth to each work of art, finishing it in a style that
will look just as exciting many years from now.
Izzy loves art and he and his wife Deana share a passion for collecting.
Personal taste is a big factor when deciding who they will represent. Izzy
and Deana have a sophisticated eye and frequently select artists they’d
like to buy themselves. They represent both well known artists as well as
artists whose work they feel will be widely known and appreciated in the
future. Izzy has a great instinct for art; whatever you buy from him will
only grow on you once you live with it in your home.
